Questions
How much of my subscription goes to artists?
51%. The split is written into the Terms of Service. The platform keeps the rest to run the service.
Which artists get my money?
The ones you played that day, in proportion to how long you listened. Not the most-streamed artists on the platform. Each Premium subscriber contributes a flat $0.25 per day, divided across the creators they actually played.
What does Premium cost?
$14.99 per month or $175.99 per year.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. You can browse, follow creators and listen within the free tier's limits. A free listener does not fund creators; a Premium subscriber does.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from Manage Subscription on the web, or through the app store you subscribed on. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
How do artists get paid?
Earnings are calculated and settled nightly into a balance. Verified sellers request a payout to their bank account. Earnings accrue from day one; verification controls withdrawal.
What are splits?
A declaration, per track, of who owns the recording and by how much. Collaborators accept by invite and are paid automatically. A share for someone who has not yet accepted is held in escrow for 90 days and released to them when they accept.
What are credits?
Attribution for producers, engineers and performers on a track. A credit carries no money share. One person can hold both a credit and a split.
Do you accept covers or tracks with samples?
Uploaders attest at publish time whether a track is a cover, whether it contains samples and whether they are cleared, and whether they control the master. Every upload is fingerprinted against known recordings before it can earn.
Is there a family plan?
Yes. One subscription shared across several seats. The family's daily contribution is split equally across the seats enrolled that day, and each seat's share follows that person's own listening.
